Position As Research Fellow (Post Doc) in biology (marine biodiversity) available at Marine Biodiversity Research Group), Dept. of Biology,
Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Oslo
The applicant should have a PhD/dr. scient or equivalent education in marine biology, and preferably with background in marine sediment ecology, with a sound knowledge of ecological theory and a strong capability in statistical analyses. A large spatially-referenced database on marine sediment assemblages is available. Familiarity with climate-related research and databases is advantageous. The University of Oslo has excellent facilities for field and laboratory work including access to a mesocosm for experimental research. The successful candidate will work in an active group of researchers in marine ecology and in addition the University has a number of highly active climate research groups
